Girl Power

Girl Power shines a light on female graffiti artists from 15 different cities, including Prague, Moscow, Cape Town, Sydney, Biel, Madrid, Berlin, Toulouse, Barcelona, and New York. The world of graffiti has traditionally been male-dominated, but in recent years, the number of female graffiti artists has been growing—they are hitting the streets, forming crews, participating in jams.

Since the phenomenon of graffiti cannot be explained from an outside point of view, Sany, who is a writer herself, decided to film a documentary. After seven long years full of ups and downs, she came up with Girl Power, the first documentary ever about the female graffiti scene!
