Frauen Erzählen Geschichte

A documentary about six women, each of them committed, courageous, emancipated and feministic to varying degrees, aged between 99 and 108, from different countries: India, Austria, Israel, Cuba, and Turkey. Five of them share the stories of their lives, while the sixth is the film’s pianist.
Their diverse stories of life and emancipation are as fascinating as the 20th century itself, as each of them, despite their harsh circumstances, managed to persevere in her own way. Even in old age, they remain actively involved in life and current events.
And they are here to remind us, rightfully: “Don’t give up hope. Resist.”
